Cast: Credible Anonymity Workplace App
Service Design, UX Research, UI Design
Created between November-December 2022 for the third-year Service Design course, this project aimed to look at the near future, identify critical emergent trends and drivers, and cross reference them in order to identify possible product/service design opportunities. The result is Cast, an app for employees that enables them to speak freely and authoritatively through credible anonymity.

The Problem
Employees at large companies need a place to vent their true feelings and criticisms and seek honest advice, all while staying safely anonymous. There are precedents for this, but they are flawed.
The Solution
Working from the identified trends of remote work, vanishing anonymity, cryptographic technologies, and employee desire for anonymous forms of workplace engagement, the final result is Cast. This app for employees improves upon similar precedents, enabling workers to anonymously communicate with each other about their jobs while still maintaining proof of their unique credentials, thereby creating a credible form of anonymity.
Process
Included in this project is horizon scanning and trend research, business/market precedent analysis, user persona and journey mapping, and a prototype mockup.
