Disruptive Futures Opportunity Canvas

Created from September-October 2023 for the Disruptive Futures course, this project was made in a three week process.
The Problem
Identify a disruptive technology, identify the opportunities and risks associated with it, and employ basic futureproofing methodologies. Incorporate interdisciplinary thinking such as technology, business, ethical, and societal considerations into the final opportunity analysis.
The Solution
A one-page opportunity canvas analyzing the disruptive technology of additive manufacturing.
Process
Week One consisted of the selection of additive manufacturing as a disruptive technology, and the initial assessment of its disruptive potential.
Week Two comprised the mapping of signals which indicate additive manufacturing's growing significance, as well as the indicators of its emergence, current state, and development pace.
In Week Three, the Opportunity Canvas was created, which consists of the content from the previous two weeks, and adds the current applications, future opportunities, ethical and economic implications, and storyline for the future of additive manufacturing.
