Bend Basket
Created from March-April 2021 for the first-year Design in Context 2 course, this project began with a task analysis of washing clothes in a washing machine, which included a description of steps and pain points, as well as a storyboard to visualize the process and understand the problem.
Building from this, the second phase comprised a refined design brief with "musts", "shoulds", and "coulds" criteria, research of ergonomics, inspirational products, and market precedents, lateral thinking, an image board, exploratory ideation sketches, final sketches and initial physical mockup, and a final physical prototype.
